Established in 1971, York Regional Police Association (YRPA) is a labour organization representing over 2,400 uniformed and civilian members of the York Regional Police. The association is dedicated to serving the women and men that protect the York Region community.

YRPA Community Work

The uniformed and civilian members of York Regional Police Association (YRPA) are proud supporters of many charitable causes. Each year, the women and men of York Regional Police give their personal time to support many causes and volunteer throughout York Region to help give back to the community we serve.

In the last five years, York Regional Police Association has contributed over $218,000 to various charities and towards members’ participation in charitable work. The association also holds annual campaigns and events to support our charities.
